This is probably gonna be one of my most favorite post. I’m so excited about it because it’s all about FOOD and I’m a FOODIE! So does my boyfriend! Without him, I can’t see myself traveling to so many places for nice foods, so let’s give some credits to him hehe! Muah!
I can’t wait to share some of my hand picked cafe that are my favorites!
Let’s begin our food trail journey to…. BRUNCH-ING OUT!!!
Hediard Cafe Paris
Originated from Paris, this modern french restaurant is located at a colonial style shophouses Tudor Court – Tanglin. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A menu inspired and designed by Hediard Paris chef Vincent Carayon and it’s many excellent reviews, Hediard Singapore Cafe-Restaurant seem to be the place for a unique Parisian experience and taste, bring it closer to you. It is one of my preferred place for brunch because they have the best croissant if you like the crispy and buttery type.
If you are going for breakfast, do try their Hediard Breakfast Set which comes with a choice of coffee or tea, freshly squeezed orange juice, choice of one viennoiserie (croissant, brioche or pain au chocolat), soft boiled egg or hard boiled egg or fried egg, Hediard country style toasted bread and butter, one 30 gr jar of home made jam and one 30gr jar of honey for the price of SGD19.00. There are also other types of viennoiserie and breakfast set to choose from but my boyfriend and I always end up having the same.

Chye Seng Huat Hardware & Loysel’s Toy
CSHH, short form for Chye Seng Huat Hardware was apparently owned by people behind Papa Palheta and Loysel’s Toy. I have visited both Loysel’s Toy and CSHH before and personally I prefer Loysel’s Toy because it is less crowded and quieter. CSHH can be a little busy on weekends which you may find it hard to grab a seat. On the outside it looks a little run down but it’s actually a very modern contemporary cafe. Both places serve really good coffee. That is the reason why I would recommend anyone who is a coffee addict to check out this place! You will love their coffee!
Of course other than their amazing coffee, they serves delicious breakfast sets as well. You will be spoiled for choices!

Tiong Bahru Bakery by Gontran Cherrier
Located in the heart of Tiong Bahru neighbourhood where you can find lotsa good food around. This nice-looking cafe sits in the district of Eng Hoon Street which is now the hippest street in Tiong Bahru. You can find P.S. Cafe, Forty Hands, Open Door Policy and many other cafes nearby. Especially during the weekends, Tiong Bahru can be seen to be very crowded at as early as 10am. Most people are heading to the popular street for their breakfast or brunch. One of the popular cafe would be Tiong Bahru Bakery, it is a collaboration with Gontran Cherrier, a celebrity baker. Did I manage to tickle your taste buds now?
I have been here twice and I really love how they displayed their sandwiches on their counter. The croissants are pretty good and there are many reviews from the public and food bloggers too. Don’t believe ? Head down and try it out yourself! (sorry i do not have any picture of the croissant. didn’t know i was gonna do this blog post)

I love coffee as much but I do love tea as well! and Arteastiq is one of my favorite! A modern tea lounge with designer furniture and an arty farty feel gives customer a different and unique experience. Located in a hustle and bustle street of Orchard comes a cafe that brings art and tea together.
When you first enter the restaurant, you get to see a art jam studio with many canvas, paint palettes, brushes and customers releasing their inner artist in this social painting and tea sipping place. Probably one of it’s kind in Singapore at the present moment. I thought this is a really good idea for busy people like us. At Arteastiq, customers are given a 50 x 50 cm or 60 x 80cm canvas, unlimited acrylic paint, sponges, brushes and paint palette. One free beverage from Arteastiq will be supplied and if artists would like to sip on some alcoholic beverages, they can order from the menu too!

I can’t recall how many times I’ve visited Arteastiq and I tend to bug my girlfriends to come here for high-tea. They really love it! I like the way the food and drinks were presented as they all comes in very pretty trays and crockery. The food are healthy and less oily which explains why I like it here! I pretty health-conscious actually. Every month they will have different promotions for customers and do check out on the website.

Originated from Northern France, Paul is a french chain of bakery and cafe restaurants with a long history since it established in 1889. There are over 436 franchised PAUL restaurant from all over the world and now it has opened it’s first outlet in Singapore. Bringing Europe closer to us now. PAUL specializes in serving French products including breads, crepes, sandwiches, macarons, soups, cakes, pastries, coffee etc…
I ordered the croissant for sampling just to taste if it’s better than Hediard but I didn’t quite like it. As for the scrambled eggs, I’m very happy to say PAUL has the best scrambled eggs. I’m a huge fan of eggs, especially scrambled eggs that are buttery and creamy. If you love it too, you will love PAUL! The ratio of eggs, milk to butter were just perfect! Tried some of the tarts but unfortunately I didn’t take any photos. I never thought I’m gonna start blogging again. Just a point for anyone who wanted to visit, the service is rather slow and I would advise to go early as there might be a slight queue.
